PETER LASCARIDES, DO

Dr. Lascarides was born and raised in Flushing, New York. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as the Chief Resident. During residency, he proudly cared for military veterans at the Northport Veteran Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Lascarides then furthered his training at the Albert Einstein- Montefiore Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine Fellowship Program, learning from some of the best physicians in the country. Dr. Lascarides was fortunate to return to the group of people that he formed meaningful bonds with during training, now at Pain Institute of Long Island, where he proudly serves the Eastern Long Island region.

Dr. Lascarides maintains involvement in academia, at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and Stony Brook University Hospital, where he serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor. He engages regularly with local pain medicine societies collaborating with his peers in the field. Dr. Lascarides serves on the executive board for the Eastern Pain Association, an organization focused on furthering professional knowledge and innovation in the field of pain medicine.

Adept in interventional procedures, Dr. Lascarides is known for his comprehensive, multimodal approach to treating patients. Along with targeted therapies, he often encourages lifestyle modifications and home exercise regimens to promote healing.

Dr. Lascarides’ goal as a physician is to provide his patients with a happier, more functional, and fulfilling life. A native New Yorker, Dr. Lascarides is fluent in Greek and proficient in Spanish. He enjoys fishing, skiing, and playing the drums.
