Dr. Lascarides was born and raised in Flushing, New York. He attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Lascarides developed his interest in Pain Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he worked beside his friend and mentor, Dr Brian Durkin. As a resident, he also worked with Dr Samuel Brown, together proudly providing pain management services to the veterans at Northport Veteran Affairs Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Lascarides attended the renowned Montefiore Medical Center, in Bronx, New York, for advanced fellowship training,learning from some of the best physicians in the world.
Dr. Lascarides was fortunate to return to the group of people that he formed meaningful bonds with, now at Pain Institute of Long Island, where he provides coverage to the Eastern Long Island area.

Dr. Lascarides uses a multi-modal approach in directing his care. His treatments include targeted injections and minimally invasive procedures, as well as prescription medications when they have a role. He encourages lifestyle modifications and targeted exercises, with the goal of providing his patients a happier, more functional, and fulfilling life.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Lascarides is fluent in Greek and proficient in Spanish. He enjoys fishing, skiing, and following the New York Rangers.
