Robert Iadevaio, MD, D.ABA, is a board-certified physician practicing pain management at our Rockville Centre location. He returned to Long Island after completing his training at Memorial Sloan Kettering and The Mount Sinai Hospital in Pain Management and Anesthesia. He began his education at Adelphi University and completed his medical education at SUNY Downstate Medical College.
He holds leadership and member roles as a Delegate and Member of N.Y. State Society of Anesthesiologists and Pain Management Committee. He has also served as Co-Chair for the Long Island Spine Center at South Nassau and the Pain Management Committee. He has extensively lectured and educated physicians, nurses, and patients through hospital, private, and professional organization-sponsored events and conferences.
Dr. Iadevaio is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). His clinical practice is focused on the evaluation and non-operative management of musculoskeletal, sports injury, and spine-related painful conditions. Dr. Iadevaio uses clinically proven traditional and newer interventional techniques to treat patients with all types of pain. He believes an accurate diagnosis and goal setting are the most important aspects to successful patient care and treatment outcomes.
His experience treating pain includes back, neck, sciatica, CRPS/RSD, joint, neuropathy, sacroiliac, and cancer pain includes modalities injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal stimulation. He continues to offer newer promising techniques such as regenerative medicine, DRG, Corner-Loc, Intracept-vertebral ablation.
Dr. Iadevaio has served as team physician for local high schools, sporting events and has been a youth coach for both girls and boys lacrosse, football, softball, and basketball.
